STRONG Pilates, a world-first Pilates and cardio-infused global fitness franchise, has announced rapid expansion plans across the United States of America following the successful launch of its first studio in Stone Oak, San Antonio.
To date, STRONG Pilates has confirmed 77 locations across the United States, including multi-site franchise agreements in Dallas, Austin, Los Angeles County, Orange County, San Diego, New Jersey and Massachusetts. Single-site franchise agreements have been confirmed across Houston and Long Island, including Cinco Ranch, Syosset, Garden City, Commack and Ronkonkoma.
Along with the first corporate-owned studio in Hermosa Beach, California, STRONG Pilates will open up to 30 corporate-owned studios across Florida and Texas, showing its steadfast commitment to invest in the US fitness market.
This ambitious growth strategy spearheaded by Australian Co-founders, Mark Armstrong and Michael Ramsey, reflects the increasing global demand for innovative, low-impact and high-intensity workout options.
Mark Armstrong and Michael Ramsey, Co-founders of STRONG Pilates, said: “There is increased demand in the United States for a boutique, multi-modality offering such as STRONG Pilates which has already garnered widespread interest among those wanting a more intensive low impact option. Our expansion plans are indicative of a unique offering entering the US market which has already seen incredible growth across nine countries. With over 100 studios confirmed in our first year of entry, this is the start of an expansive roll-out of an unparalleled fitness format.”
The Stone Oak location, which opened in September, marked STRONG Pilates’ 70th studio worldwide. The studio has already attracted high-profile attention, with NBA player for San Antonio Spurs, Zach Collins among the first to experience the STRONG Pilates workout.
STRONG Pilates’ world-first offering combines cardio training with the world-leading reformer pilates via the globally exclusive Rowformer and Bikeformer machines (a reformer bed with a rower or bike on the end). The global fitness format has amassed an impressive following of members worldwide, drawn to its innovative, community-led style of fitness.
The company is now operating in nine countries including the USA, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Ireland, Singapore, Canada, Philippines and Indonesia, with upcoming studios in Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Dubai and Bahrain.
