Gigamon establishes second headquarters to address growing global demand for its deep observability solution

Gigamon, a leader in deep observability, has opened a new, 76,767-square-foot office in the new Olympia Cyber Space building in Chennai, one of the fastest growing technology hubs in India. The newly constructed facility, which becomes the second largest Gigamon office globally outside of the company’s Santa Clara headquarters, will serve as the company’s second headquarters to meet the growing global demand for its Deep Observability Pipeline solution.

Gigamon first established its presence in Chennai in 2015 with a small office focused on R&D. Today, the new Chennai office operates as a second headquarters and has expanded to include engineering, sales, customer support and HR functions. Since its founding in 2004, Gigamon has served more than 4,000 customers globally. The Gigamon Deep Observability Pipeline efficiently delivers network-derived intelligence to cloud, security and observability tools, helping organisations to eliminate security blind spots, optimise network traffic and reduce tool costs to more efficiently and effectively secure and manage hybrid cloud infrastructure.

“We’re thrilled to offer our growing employee population in Chennai a world-class workspace where they can continue to innovate and excel in our purpose to protect the hybrid networks and data of the largest, most complex organisations on the planet,” said Shane Buckley, President and CEO at Gigamon. “India is not only a premier source of top technical talent, but, with the fastest growing economy in the G20, our Chennai office enables us to capitalise on the growing demand for our Deep Observability Pipeline solution in India, across the broader APAC region and around the world.”
